The question behind “how long” is usually “how long will my house be unusable”. Those are different answers.
One room
A straightforward bedroom is a day, including preparation. A room with a lot of trim, built-ins or a feature wall runs to two.
A whole interior
Four to eight days for a typical Woodstock house, depending on size and how much filling is needed. We work room by room so you keep most of the house.
An exterior
Three to six days if the weather holds. Washing takes a day of its own, and the house needs to dry properly before anything goes on — in Georgia humidity that is a full day, not an hour.
What adds time
Wallpaper removal, extensive filling, and colour changes that need an extra coat. All three are visible at the estimate, which is why we walk the house rather than quoting by square footage.
What we do to shorten it
Start early, work in sections so rooms come back into use as they finish, and clear properly at the end of each day rather than leaving equipment out.
