What helps us answer properly
Two or three photographs, taken from far enough back to show the whole thing rather than the damaged corner. Rough measurements if you have them. And whether you are working to a date — a deck before a party in June is a different conversation from one at some point this year.
None of it is required. It just means the first answer is closer to the real one.
What happens next
We come out and look, usually within a few days. The estimate is written, itemised and sent by email so you can hold it against anyone else’s. If we think a job does not need doing yet, we say so — that is the whole reason the visit is free.
