What we actually do
Interior and exterior painting, kitchen renovation, wood stairs, decks, porches and pressure washing — and commercial painting for offices, retail and warehouse space. It is finish work more than structural work — the part of a house you look at and touch every day, rather than the part behind the walls.
Most of what we are called to is a house that has aged rather than a house that has failed. Woodstock is full of homes built in the two-thousands that are now twenty-plus years old: sound underneath, tired on the surface. That is the work.
How we approach it
Preparation is where a job is won or lost, and it is the part nobody sees in the finished room. Filling, sanding, degreasing, priming, protecting the floor properly rather than throwing a sheet down — none of it shows up in a photograph and all of it decides how the work looks in five years.
The other half is being straight about scope. If a kitchen does not need new cabinetry, we will say so. If a deck needs its frame looked at before anything gets coated, we will say that too, even when it is the more expensive answer and even when it is not the answer you were hoping for.

Local
Being based in Woodstock is not a marketing line — it changes the job. We know which subdivisions went up when, what the builders used, and which finishes on which streets are reaching the end of their life. It also means no travel premium and no three-week wait to have someone look at a room.
