Empire Homes Renovation has worked in Woodstock since 2018. Remodeling, painting and the repairs in between — with our own crews rather than subcontracted labour.
That last part is the reason most of this page exists. Plenty of companies quote a job, win it, and then find someone to do it. The person who gave you the estimate is not the person who turns up, and everything discussed at the door has to survive a handover it usually does not.
What we take on
How we quote
Written and itemised, so you can hold it against anyone else’s. If we find something once the work starts — rot behind trim, a joist that has been wet for years — we stop, photograph it, tell you what it changes, and you decide. Nothing gets buried in a change order at the point where you have no leverage left.
What we will tell you not to do
This is the part that costs us money and keeps customers. A deck that has gone grey is usually sound underneath and wants staining, not rebuilding. A kitchen with square, dry carcasses does not need new boxes. A house where only the south wall has failed does not need painting on four sides.
We would rather quote the smaller job and be called back in three years than sell the larger one once.
What we buy
Paint comes from the trade counter — Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore and Behr — not from whatever is discounted that week. Which line depends on the surface and how hard it will be used, and we will tell you which one we are putting on.
The material difference between a mid-range and a premium line is small next to the labour. Skimping there saves a few hundred dollars and costs you two years of finish, which is a bad trade in both directions.
Where we work
Woodstock first, then Canton, Acworth, Kennesaw, Marietta and Roswell. Close enough that a visit is a short run rather than a special trip, which is why we can come out for a half-day of repairs without the travel swallowing the invoice.
