Paint Before You Move In

An empty room before moving in

If there is a gap between closing and moving in, that gap is the cheapest painting window you will ever have.

Why empty is faster

No furniture to move, no covering, no working around anybody. A crew that would take four days in an occupied house does the same work in two and a half.

A room with matte painted walls
Nothing to move, nothing to protect. The job is simply shorter.

Why it is better work

Trim, skirting and closet interiors get painted properly rather than around. Those are the places that get skipped in an occupied house because the furniture never quite moves far enough.

Floors too

If floors are being refinished, that happens after painting and before anything comes in. Doing it in the other order means masking a fresh finish and hoping.

The catch

The window is short and everybody wants it. Booking before you close rather than after is what makes it possible.

If you have already moved in

Then room by room, and we work around you — that is normal and most of what we do. It just costs more than the same job would have three weeks earlier.

Interior painting covers both. Finished rooms are on our Facebook page.
